Actress Jessica Alba has advised singer Beyonce Knowles to sell pictures of her daughter to the press.

The 30-year-old Alba previously struck a deal with a magazine to publish pictures of her daughter Honor after her birth in 2008 to prevent a surge in attention from the paparazzi.
She has now urged Beyonce to follow her lead so that she can "control" the rush for the first snaps of her child.
Beyonce, 30, gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter Jan 12. "For our family, we just wanted to control the experience. We put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wants to do with," contactmusic.com quoted Alba as saying.
"It's her picture, it's her birth, and we didn't want it to be like a weird thing when we were walking out of the house for the first time," she added.
