In an interview to a leading magazine, the 24-year-old Oscar winner admitted that being a public figure isn't easy. "Just because I'm an actress does not mean that I asked for this.
It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It's my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting."
The Hunter Games actress even called this gross violation 'a sex crime'. "I can't believe that we even live in this kind of world. It is not a scandal. It is a sexual violation."
The actress is now pressing for a change in the laws that govern the virual world. "Somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and to think that the first thought that crosses somebody's mind is to make a profit from it," she says. Well said.
