"He is going to live on through his music and his melodies will never be forgotten for thousands of years," he told PTI here.

The 61-year-old Horner died in a plane crash in a remote area near north of Santa Barbara.

Horner, whose first break came with the score for 1982's "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", worked with some of the biggest directors in film, including George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Ron Howard and Oliver Stone.

Horner can be remembered as a melodious and thematic composer, Kej said. "I definitely remember him as a melodious composer because melody was very very strong in his music," Kej added.

Kej said he loved and admired Horner' work with Hollywood film director James Cameron and Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

"His combination with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and James Cameron, was really beautiful.... Titanic, Terminator and Avatar, all were spectacular scores," he said.
