Los Angeles: Urban crime fighting stars Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will join forces in a six-part comic book series, this November.
DC Entertainment and IDW Publishing will release the series featuring the night time vigilant heroes, according to a Hollywood daily.
Written by James Tynion IV with art by Freddie E Williams II, the mini-series will see the Turtles thrown out of their home dimension and into Batman's Gotham City .
Tynion IV, who has written many Batman projects, including co-writing the newly announced Batman and Robin Eternal weekly series to be launched on October 7, called the project âa fanboy dream come true'.
He said: "It's always a thrill to see the world of Batman through new eyes."
It is not the first time DC and IDW are collaborating over a venture. The comic giants have previously come together for Green Lantern/Star Trek venture, which reached comic book stores this week.
