Yet another compelling watch, 'Big Little Lies' has been receiving rave reviews for more than one reasons and here's why viewers can't miss the mega series when it premieres in India on Tuesday.
1. Hollywood Heavyweights associated with the series
A star studded affair, the show comprises of a dynamic cast including Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon along with The Fault in Our Stars fame Shailene Woodley. Parks and Recreation fame Adam Scott, Jurassic Park fame Laura Dern and Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood and The Legend of Tarzan fame also star in vital roles as supporting actors in the series.
To add to the list of renowned names associated with the series, Oscar winner Jean-Marc Vallee of the multi-award winning movies 'Dallas Buyers Club' and 'Wild' stepped in to direct Big Little Lies along with by David e. 2. Contrary to belief, the show is not about murder
The murder is not the suspense here as it is the very first twist of the show. This show, instead, is about a vicious fight for power and status between the Monterey moms that provides the female-centric show with a strong scope to showcase some brilliant performances by the leading ladies. The show is about its exceptional art of story-telling, an in-depth and complex examination of what women want - from marriage, sex, motherhood, friendship, work and from life in general.

3. There is no Season 2
There will be no more of this show once Season 1 is over. The entire story, murder, mystery and suspense starts and ends within this season, closing all the loops and the possibility of a Season 2.
4. The A-list cast aces it on the show
The trio of Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley kill it on the forefront of the show. While Nicole Kidman showcases a performance that is heartbreakingly real, she gives a lot for viewers to be able to emotionally and in every way connect with her. Witherspoon, on the other hand, nails her character, one that allows for a rare mix of comedy and drama. Woodley has also received immense praise for her role as a single mother who has compartmentalized the darkness and complexities in her life to keep moving forward. All three of the lead stars are being known to give the best performance of their career yet, in Big Little Lies, and that is particularly riveting since Reese and Nicole have both won Oscars in their past.
