Los Angeles: A male-centric version of the "Ghostbusters" reboot is underway.

An all-woman 'Ghostbusters' reboot is already in making that stars Kristin Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones and is directed by Paul Feig ('Bridesmaids').

Now, Dan Aykroyd, who co-wrote and starred in the original film and director Ivan Reitman, who directed and produced it, have reconnected to form Ghost Corps, a production company that will develop the new all-male comedy film, reported Deadline.

'Foxcatcher' actor Channing Tatum is set to produce the movie and could be starring in it.

"We want to expand the Ghostbusters universe in ways that will include different films, TV shows, merchandise, all things that are part of modern filmed entertainment," Reitman said.

"Paul Feig's film will be the first version of that, shooting in June to come out in July 2016. He's got four of the funniest women in the world... the second film has a wonderful idea that builds on that," he said. The 1984 film starred Bill Murray, Aykroyd, and Ramis as three eccentric parapsychologists in New York City who start a
ghost-catching business.
