Adele's secret wedding baffles family

Brit singer Adele's family hasn't taken kindly to her supposed secret marriage to Simon Konecki. The 28-year-old, who thanked her "husband" at the Grammy Awards recently, was supposed to tie the knot later this year. However, news of her wedding baffled the duo's relatives, who say they weren't informed about the developments.

A source close to the star said, "Adele and Simon have a big family, but some of those closest to them weren't aware of an impending wedding and were shocked to hear (that) one might have gone ahead. They feel disappointed if it's true. They understand they're a private couple, but are surprised to see them potentially cut out their loved ones."

The couple, who have a four-year-old son, Angelo, was spotted with gold rings at the Brit award show.
