'Olympus Has Fallen' action all the way: Gerard Butler

The Antoine Fuqua-directorial will see Butler as a secret service agent, running around with guns and doing some deadly action while protecting the President during a terrorist attack on the White House, reads a statement.

Talking about his love for the action genre, the 43-year-old said: "The story is really fun. North Korean terrorists come down the Mall in a bloody cargo plane and also attack the White House from the inside."

"It's insane, but you buy it, you go with it. It's action-packed all the way through - a traditional, classic, unapologetic, big action movie. It's Die Hard in the White House," he added.

"Olympus Has Fallen" also features Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett, Rick Yune, Dylan McDermott, Ashley Judd, Radha Mitchell, Cole Hauser and Robert Forster.
