The Jungle Book
A special treat is in store for 'The Jungle Book' fans in India. Jon Favreau's remake of the 1967 animated classic will arrive in Indian theatres on April 8, a week prior to its release in the US.
A still from the film
The film features 10-year-old Neel Sethi, the only actor to appear on screen as young mancub Mowgli, the human boy raised by wolves in Rudyard Kipling's famous 1894 collection of stories, and will have voice-over by stars like Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba and Christopher Walken.
Favreau's version of the timeless tale blends live-action with photorealistic CGI animals and environments, using up-to-the-minute technology and storytelling techniques.
