Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, 'Yek Number' has been written by Tejaswini Pandit and Dhairya Gholap, Ajay-Atul has composed the music and it has been produced by Zee Studios, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Sahyadri Films
Aamir Khan praised the film at the event and even wished for the box office success of the film. He also congratulated Raj Thackeray for the launch of his production house
Aamir Khan said, "Actually, all of them know something about this film. Some have heard the story, and some have seen the film. This is a new experience for me. I'd really like to congratulate Tejaswini Pandit, Wardha, (Rajesh) Mapuskar, and the entire team"
He added, "Raj, you are starting this production house. All the very best for that. I pray that your film is a huge success, that it gets a lot of love in Maharashtra, in fact, in the whole country and in the world, from the audience. And in this journey that you have taken, I hope you gain fame and stride forward with this production house. My best, best wishes to the entire team, to the actors, to the cast, and the crew. Ajay, Atul, everyone. Raj, all the very best. May this film break all records. October 10th—so we all look forward to that."

During the launch, Rajkumar Hirani shared how the film's inception came about. He revealed that he first heard the story 1-1.5 years ago and was initially unsure of how it would be executed, given its complex narrative. However, after watching the final version two weeks ago, Hirani was deeply impressed.
Hirani praised the film for beautifully depicting Maharashtra and seamlessly connecting various elements in the storyline. The film will be released in theatres on October 10
