Mika Singh has initiated a food service (Langar Seva) under his NGO, and had kickstarted his efforts a fortnight ago by offering free meals to bus drivers, street kids, the poor and the needy. Mika Singh along with his NGO Divine Touch has started distributing free food among the people in the Andheri area of Mumbai.
On Sunday, Vindu Dara Singh and singer Bhoomi Trivedi also distributed food along with Mika Singh and his team. The singer's free 'langar sewa' will feed approximately 1000 people daily. Last year, Mika had distributed free food in Delhi as well.
Mika Singh on his Instagram shared an update for his fans and followers on how they can also join in and make a difference, "aba ji di kirpa nal.. We are serving 1k meals everyday from the last 1 year in #Delhi NCR.. Now we are providing food to the needy in #Mumbai from last 2 weeks.. Thank you everyone for supporting our cause @letshelpdivinetouch with #yourlittletimecanchangelives I would like to thank @venkyschicken , #balabhai @easemytrip @nishantpitti @zomato @feedingindia @itscrownent and all my fans and friends .. Mika Singh also shared a post where he thanked Vindu Dara Singh and Bhoomi Trivedi for coming out to support the cause. He wrote, "Our motto “your little time can change lives” was witnessed when Bollywood singer @bhoomitrivediofficial and actor @vindusingh willingly stepped out to support @mikasingh for our humble cause. [sic]"
Mika Singh also thanked Mumbai Police for supporting this cause. "Our most sincere gratitude to the Mumbai Police for supporting us whole heartedly and motivating us to make this possible. A special thanks to the Media too for supporting us morally. Today we served more than 1000 meals to those in need... We are grateful to the @mumbaipolice for supporting @letshelpdivinetouch and also to the media for their whole hearted support, [sic] " wrote Mika in his Instagram post.
