Hrithik Roshan has been receiving appreciation from all across for capturing Kumar's gestures with utmost perfection. Anand Kumar himself commended Hrithik for imbibing his soul into his character. Super 30 is a story of the triumph of the spirit. The movie also features Mrunal Thakur alongside Hrithik. The film released on July 12, 2019.
Sushmita Sen in Main Hoon Na: Chemistry would have never been boring had students been lucky to have a teacher like Chandni Chopra, the character Sush essayed in the Farah Khan-directorial. Her sensuality and chiffon saree were among the memorable aspects of the film.
Rani Mukerji in Hichki: The heart-warming and inspiring film Hichki, had a progressive message of beating stereotypes. It featured Rani Mukerji as a determined school teacher, who changes the lives of innocent students from the economically backward strata, while dealing with her own nervous system disorder - Tourette Syndrome. Rani Mukerji's comeback film post motherhood sure was a hit.
Aamir Khan in Taare Zameen Par: As Ram Shankar Nikumbh, the perfectionist's portrayal of a charming, helpful teacher, who helps bring out the best in a dyslexic kid, remains unmatched.
Shah Rukh Khan in Mohabbatein: Keeping aside his romantic hero image, here SRK played the graceful music teacher Raj Aryan, who challenges the stubborn policies of the principal of the university Narayan Shankar (Big B).
Chitrangda Singh in Desi Boyz: She played the hot economics professor in the film, who teaches her student Akshay Kumar.
Boman Irani in 3 Idiots: As the eccentric college dean Viru Sahastrabudhhe, who's a stickler for discipline, the versatile actor was a laugh riot. Earlier in his career, he portrayed the equally memorable role of J. Asthana, a medical college dean, in Munnabhai M.B.B.S.
Amitabh Bachchan in Black: As Debraj Sahai, Bachchan brought a sense of eccentricity to his character not often seen in Bollywood. His portrayal seemed over the top at times, but his conviction in teaching a deaf, mute and blind girl was appreciated unanimously. Big B also played a teacher in Aarakshan, but a weak script handicapped his performance.
Raaj Kumar in Bulandi: A wealthy Ranjit Singh Lobo (played by Danny Denzongpa) recruits Professor Satish Khurana (Raaj Kumar) to tutor his son, Manjit (also played by Danny). The film also has Kumar tutoring Danny's friends' sons, played by Raj Kiran and Rakesh Bedi.
Simi Garewal in Mera Naam Joker: In this Raj Kapoor film, Simi played the pretty teacher Miss Mary. One of her students, played by a young Rishi Kapoor, was besotted with his teacher's beauty. Simi played the understanding teacher with utmost ease.
Naseeruddin Shah in Sir: As the loveable professor Amar Varma, who sings an ode to the rain in the classroom and helps a student (Pooja Bhatt) overcome her stammering problem, Naseer won hearts with his unruffled portrayal.
Nagesh Kukunoor in Rockford: The director-cum-actor played Johnny Matthew (PT Instructor), who guided one of his students Rajesh Naidu (played by Rohan Dey) in more than just exercises, and became more of a friend, who shared his life experience with Rajesh.
Jeetendra in Parichay: Gulzar's simply told tale had Ravi (Jeetendra) tutoring Rai Saheb's (Pran) five grandchildren. The naughty kids try their best to do away with the professor, but the latter wins them over with his caring nature, and also brings about a change in their unruly behaviour.
Vinod Khanna in Imtihaan: This 1974 movie saw Khanna playing an idealistic professor Pramod Sharma, who takes it upon him to reform a group of rowdy college students.
