Soundarya: She was killed when the aircraft carrying her to Andhra Pradesh to campaign for the BJP crashed minutes after it took off from Jakkur airfield near Bangalore in 2004. Soundarya's producer-brother Amarnath, who accompanied her also died in the crash. Eyewitnesses said seconds after the single-engine four-seater Cessna 180 cleared the runway and attained a height of 100 ft, it banked to the left and crashed into the campus of the University of Agricultural Sciences. The aircraft burst into flames and the bodies were charred beyond recognition. Soundarya was 7 months pregnant when she died
Hansie Cronje: Former South Africa cricket captain Hansie Cronje was killed in a plane crash on June 1, 2002 in the country's Western Cape province. John Kennedy Jr: On July 16, 1999, John F. Kennedy Jr. died when the airplane he was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
