Sooraj Barjatya explains a scene to Salman Khan

Maine Pyar Kiya proved to be a successful launch-pad for Sooraj Barjatya and Salman's careers and built the foundation to their professional association. The film was a milestone in Salman's career and after it released, he became popular as Prem the loverboy.

Besides Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit, the musical family drama featured Mohnish Bahl, Renuka Shahane, Anupam Kher, Reema Lagoo, Alok Nath, Laxmikant Berde, among others. Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! was a modern take on Rajshri Productions' 1982 film Nadiya Ke Paar. The film won several awards including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

The film was a huge success at the Box Office and declared All Time Blockbuster. Well, did you know Hum Saath-Saath Hain was also dubbed into the Telugu and released with the title Premaanuraagam.

Besides the poor script, the film 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon' was marred by some overacting by Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and some underplaying by Abhishek Bachchan.

The film, however, manages to be a topic of discussion for its performances

Though criticized by some for its lack of drama, Vivah's simple love story struck the right chords with many.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's vibe was desi, and Salman Khan had double in it. With Barjatya's signature palatial sets, fancy costumes and a larger than life canvas, the movie was a Diwali treat for Salman's fans and did wonders at the Box Office.

'Uunchai' follows the story of three aged friends who decide to trek to the base of Everest to fulfil the last wish of their fourth friend. The film narrates the tale of lifelong friendship
