Hema Malini began her birthday festivities with a visit to the Iskcon temple. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, "I am so grateful for all the lovely messages and calls I’m getting from dawn on my birthday today. I woke up to a great feeling of being blessed and indeed I could feel the Lord’s hand on me when I prayed at the Juhu Iskcon temple this morning".

Dressed in a gorgeous baby pink saree, the actress was seen praying at the temple and greeting fans later on

"My birthday felt blessed and special, thanks to all of you wishing me happiness and health. My heart also goes out in gratitude to thousands of people of my constituency Mathura who have sent personal greetings yday and prayed for my welfare. They even cut a cake for me," wrote Hema Malini in another tweet

The actress also shared pictures from her cake cutting celebration with her friends. "Three celebrations : first at the Iskcon temple with Radha Krishna, second with all my dance group members & a few friends, then a larger crowd at 8PM with special friends & well wishers. Iskcon I’ve posted. The 2nd event photos are below," she wrote

The 'Dream Girl' also shared pictures with husband and actor Dharmendra and penned a sweet note for him. "Always feel blessed with Dharam ji beside me on my birthday. Our love and special bond only get strengthened each year," she wrote
