Hrithik and Sussanne named their first kid Hrehaan, which means 'God's chosen one'. It is also a combination of their own names. Their second child is named Hridhaan, which signifies a 'great heart', and is again a combination of their own names.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have a son named Viaan, meaning 'full of energy and life'. The couple became parents again and welcomed Samisha Shetty Kundra through surrogacy, this year. 'Sa' in Sanskrit is 'to have' and 'Misha' is Russian stands for 'someone like God'.
Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her actor husband Aayush Sharma became proud parents to a baby girl on December 27, 2019. The couple named her Ayat, which means, an Islamic word which refers to the verses of the Quran. The associative meanings of Ayat are 'miracles' or 'proof' that describe the verses in the Quran. The couple has a son, Ahil, who was born in 2016. Ahil means 'emperor' or a 'ruler'.
Kalki Koechlin and beau Guy Hershberg named their baby girl Sappho, which is an ancient name of an Archaic Greek poet from the island of Lesbos. Sappho was known for her lyric poetry, written to be sung while accompanied by a lyre.
Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani welcomed their second daughter on June 10, 2019. The couple named her Miraya, which means Lord Krishna's devotee. Their first daughter is named Radhya, which means 'worshipped' in Sanskrit. It's also another name of Radha.
Karan Johar announced the happy news of the birth of his twins through surrogacy in 2017. He named his son after his late father Yash Johar and interestingly, Roohi's name is derived by rearranging the letters of his mother Hiroo Johar's name.
Farhan Akhtar and ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani have two daughters - Shakya and Akira. Shakya means 'energy circle' (a form of Chakra) in Sanskrit while Akira is Japanese for 'intelligent'.
Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora have a son named Arhaan. The name is derived from the Arabic word, which means 'the ruler'.
Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi have a daughter named Saira, which is a variant of Sarah (Hebrew), and means 'princess'.
Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra were blessed with a baby girl on December 9, 2015. They named her Adira - an amalgam of their names. Rani Mukerji shared the first picture of Adira on the occasion of her daughter's first birthday.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan named their son born through surrogacy as AbRam. AbRam is a popular name of Hebrew origin, meaning exalted father. Their daughter is named Suhana, meaning 'pleasing' in Sanskrit. They also have a son, who has a more conventional name - Aryan.

Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder's triplets also have unique names. Their son is called Czar, which translates to 'emperor' in Latin. The daughters' names are Diva, which is derived from a Latin expression meaning 'divine', and Anya, meaning 'grace' in Russian and the 'inexhaustible' in Sanskrit.

Sushmita Sen has adopted two daughters, Renee and Alisah. The former translates to 'reborn' in French while the latter means 'one who is noble', also in French.
Raveena Tandon's daughter responds to the name Rasha, which means 'Young Gazelle' in Arabic.
Zayed Khan has two sons. The elder one is named Zidaan, a derivative of the Portuguese word Zaydane, which itself comes from the verb Zada, meaning 'to add'. Khan's second son is named, Aariz, which is Arabic for 'Leader'.
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have a daughter Nitara, which means 'having deep roots' in Sanskrit. Akshay and Twinkle's elder son is named Aarav, which means 'calm' or 'peaceful' in Sanskrit.
