Megastar Amitabh Bachchan greeted his fans outside his residence Jalsa on his birthday today. The actor turned 79 and people from all over India came together to celebrate this special occasion. 

Not only from his fans, Amitabh Bachchan is also being flooded with wishes on social media from the industry people. Right from Akshay Kumar to Anushka Sharma to Parineeti Chopra, they all have prayed for the Superstar's health and happiness.

A few moments later, Amitabh Bachchan was seen with a garland and a Tilak on his forehead. The actor may have kept a Puja at home on his 79th birthday. And as always, he greeted all his well-wishers with a big, beaming and infectious smile and energy.

The cameras even captured a lookalike of Amitabh Bachchan along with several other people. They all showcased a poster that wished him on his 79th birthday and also urged people to save the single screen cinema halls. This message was from the Amitabh Bachchan Fans Association.

In another endearing moment, three men flaunted the same T-shirt with Amitabh Bachchan's face on it. It also had the hashtags #AB79 and #ABEFTeam. Bachchan today wished himself on his birthday and thought he had turned 80, when daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda had to remind him he's just 79.

The flashbulbs also spotted a couple outside Jalsa, flaunting a collage of their previous encounters with Amitabh Bachchan. The megastar debuted with Saat Hindustani in 1969 and went on to do blockbusters like Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewar, Zameer, Kabhi Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Don, Mr. Natwarlal, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Yaarana, Kaalia, Coolie, Shahenshah, Hum, and Khuda Gawah.
