Very few know that Archana Puran Singh had a failed marriage before meeting Parmeet Sethi. After her first marriage ended, the actress accidentally met Parmeet at an event.

While she wasn't looking for a relationship at that particular period of time, she revealed that it was love at first sight and sparks flew between the two.

Parmeet Sethi is seven years younger to Archana. The couple, who soon moved in together, was looked down upon during those days. Their "live-in relationship" move had set tongues wagging.

One fine (random) day, the duo decided to have a runaway wedding. Parmeet confessed how the duo came up with the idea of eloping together. "She created such a situation that I had no other option left."

When asked about the details, Parmeet shared, "At midnight, when we finally found a pandit, he asked us if we were eloping and whether the girl was baalig (of legal age), to which I replied 'Mere se zyada baalig hai ladki (She is more adult than I am)."

Parmeet Sethi and Archana Puran Singh had made the revelation on The Kapil Sharma Show. "Celebrating together. Celebrating each other. Always. (And allowing the wife to win. Always.) That's what good marriages are. @iamparmeetsethi [sic]" wrote Parmeet on his Instagram handle, alongside this picture.

The couple got married in 1992 and are proud parents to two sons - Aaryamann and Ayushmaan. The kids helped the couple grow their bond even stronger.

Archana had said in an old interview, "Aayushman understands movies and loves to participate in healthy discussions like any other adult. I remember he was at Yash Raj studios and got a chance to listen in on a discussion about Badmaash Company between Adi (Chopra) and Parmeet. During the talk, Aayushman would listen intently and then politely butt in and give his opinion. I keep telling him that he's privileged to have someone like Adi to listen to his viewpoints."

Parmeet had said in The Kapil Sharma Show that his sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan are Archana's top priority. "I am the neglected one. But, they are the link, which makes my relationship with her solid," he said.

Aaryamann Sethi and Ayushmaan Sethi have definitely inherited the looks of their parents. Don't you think so?

Coming back to the couple, Parmeet and Archana's relationship over the years has become only stronger.

In a recent video, posted by Archana Puran Singh, Parmeet Sethi jokes that he has only once lowered his standard (hinting at their marriage) but it's a 30-year-old thing, further adding that 'ab defective maal bhi accept karna padega, kya karein. Uska koi refund nahi hai.'
