Hrithik-Ameesha, Abhishek-Kareena, Tiger-Kriti, Meezan-Sharmin: These actors made their Bollywood debut together

Shikara (2020): Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who made Mission Kashmir in 2000 on the subject of terrorism in the state, launched Aadil Khan and Sadia with his directorial Shikara. The movie was based on the Kashmiri Pandit exodus of 1989 and 1990 from the Kashmir Valley.

Sab Kushal Mangal (2020): Padmini Kolhapure's son Priyaank K Sharma and Ravi Kishan's daughter Riva Kishan made their Bollywood debut with Sab Kushal Mangal, which also starred Akshaye Khanna. The movie, however, flopped at the Box Office.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019): Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol and newcomer Sahher Bamba made their debut together with the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Sunny Deol has himself directed this venture. Interestingly, the film's name is taken from a song from Karan's grandfather, Dharmendra's film, Blackmail (1973). From its trailer, the film looks like a refreshing love story.

Malaal (2019): Meezaan, Javed Jaaferi's son, and Sharmin Segal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece, made their debut with the film Malaal. Directed by Mangesh Hadawale, of Marathi film Tingya fame, Malaal is a romantic-drama that released on July 5, 2019. It's an out and out love story and relatable in many places as it deals with the friction that's created when a Maharashtrian boy falls in love with a North Indian girl.

Notebook (2019): Salman Khan launched his dear friend Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan and childhood buddy Iqbal Ratansi's son Zaheer Iqbal with Notebook. The romantic saga is about an ex-army officer, Kabir, who becomes a teacher in Kashmir in a school that is in a miserable condition. However, things take a turn when Kabir (Zaheer) finds a notebook, left behind by the previous year's teacher Firdaus (Pranutan).

Laila Majnu (2018): Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary made their Bollywood debut together with this film. The story revolved around the iconic lovebirds Laila and Majnu and was directed by Sajid Ali.

LoveYatri (2018): Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the movie marked the Hindi film debut of Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and model Warina Hussain. Needless to say, Salman launched the two. LoveYatri was a love story which revolved around nine days of Navratri festival.

Qaidi Band (2017): Aadar Jain, who is the brother of Armaan Jain made his Bollywood debut opposite Anya Singh in the film Qaidi Band, which dealt with the topic of inmates forming a band to rebel against authorities. The musical drama was directed by Habib Faisal.

Sanam Teri Kasam (2016): The romance-drama marked the Bollywood debut of Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane. The film was directed by Radhika Rao-Vinay Sapru.

Mirzya (2016): Harshvardhan Kapoor (son of Anil Kapoor) and Saiyami Kher (niece of Tanvi Azmi) made their Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya. The film was an epic romance drama inspired by the Punjabi folklore of Mirza-Sahiban.

Hero (2015): Salman Khan launched the son of Aditya Pancholi - Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty - daughter of Suniel Shetty in his production Hero. The film was a remake of Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri's Hero, which was directed by Subhash Ghai.

Wedding Pullav (2015): Anushka Ranjan and Diganth Manchale made their Bollywood debut together in Wedding Pullav, a film produced by Anushka's parents Shashi and Anu Ranjan. The film was directed by Binod Pradhan.

Heropanti (2014): Jackie Shroff's son Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon made their Bollywood debut in 2014 with the action-drama Heropanti. The film went on to become a huge hit at the Box Office. The move was a stepping stone for Tiger - The action star in Bollywood.

Saawariya (2007): Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were launched in the filmi industry by Sanjay Leela Bhansali with one of his most ambitious films - Saawariya in 2007. However, the film terribly bombed at the Box Office.

Tarzan: The Wonder Car (2004): Hardly anyone remembers that Ayesha Takia and Vatsal Seth made their Bollywood debut together with this Abbas-Mustan romantic thriller. The film also starred Ajay Devgn as Vatsal's father.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000): Actor-turned-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan launched his son Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel with this romance-drama, which went on to become a blockbuster film at the Box Office.

Refugee (2000): Filmmaker JP Dutta, who is best known for his film Border, launched Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor with this film.

Prem Aggan (1998): Feroz Khan launched his son Fardeen Khan opposite another debutant Meghna Kothari in this 1998 romantic flick.

Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997): This 1997 film marked the debut of Rani Mukerji and Shadaab Khan, son of legendary actor Amjad Khan. Rani plays a rape victim in the film, who ends up marrying her rapist following a court verdict.

Himalay Putra (1997): Akshaye Khanna entered Bollywood in 1997 with this romantic tale produced by his father Vinod Khanna. The heroine opposite him was another debutant Anjala Zaveri.

Dastak (1996): Sushmita Sen reprised her real-life role of a beauty queen in her debut movie 1996. Opposite her was Mukul Dev, who was a popular face on television then.

Bekhudi (1992): The love story released in 1992 was the debut of Kajol, who went on to become one of Hindi cinema's finest actresses. Starring opposite her was another newcomer Kamal Sadanah, son of filmmaker Brij Sadanah.

Jaan Tere Naam (1992): Now a popular face on television, Ronit Roy entered Bollywood with this 1992 college romance. His heroine in the film was also a debutant named Farheen, who is now married to ex-cricketer Manoj Prabhakar.

Sultanat (1986): Mukul Anand's multi-starrer action-drama launched Juhi Chawla and Karan Kapoor (son of Shashi Kapoor). It was also the first time Dharmendra was seen alongside son Sunny Deol. Bollywood late actress Sridevi was the other big name in the film.

Faasle (1985): This 1985 Yash Raj flick marked the debut of Farha Naaz and Rohan Kapoor's son of singer Mahendra Kapoor. Faasle, which dealt with the issue of a generation gap, had a grand star cast, which included Sunil Dutt, Rekha, Farooq Shaikh and Deepti Naval, but was a massive box-office disaster.

Jawaani (1984): A forgettable film released in 1984 was the debut of the attractive Neelam Kothari and Karan Shah (Tina Ambani (Munim)'s nephew).

Painter Babu (1983): This relatively unknown film released in 1983 introduced the ravishing Meenakshi Sheshadri and Rajiv Goswami, Manoj Kumar's brother.

Sawan Bhadon (1970): The 1970 family drama saw a completely naive Rekha making her debut opposite Navin Nischol, a gold medallist from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).

Geet Gaya Patharon Ne (1964): Directed by the legendary V. Shantaram, the movie introduced the filmmaker's daughter Rajshree as well as Jumping Jack Jeetendra.

Love in Simla (1960): A musical with humour, the 1960 movie marked the debut of Joy Mukherjee and Sadhana, who went on to become one of the most successful heroines of her time.
