Nargis Fakhri's father was from Pakistan, but he later moved to the US. Her mother is Czech. The actress, therefore, calls herself a 'global citizen' because of her mixed Pakistani and Czech ethnicity. Unfortunately, the actress's parents got divorced when she was six.

Nargis Fakhri made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 2011. She also acted in films like Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero, Azhar, Housefull 3, Dishoom and Banjo. However, Nargis's career never took off in Bollywood.

Very few know that before starting her Bollywood career, Nargis Fakhri had auditioned for America's Next Top Model.

Nargis Fakhri made headlines thanks to her alleged relationship with Uday Chopra. In an old interview with mid-day, she had said, "I am glad that Uday always keeps me in the news. We often laugh about everything that's written about us. But I am repeating myself: Uday and I aren't dating each other. But he (Uday) will always remain a part of my life."

"I have very few friends in India and I feel fortunate that he's (Uday) one of them," said Nargis Fakhri.

Even after years in the industry, Nargis Fakhri says she still feels like an outsider. 'People behaved strangely after Rockstar (2011). I received a lot of criticism, but it didn't bother me,' Nargis Fakhri told mid-day in an interview, a few years back.

Nargis Fakhri said, "I am friendly to everyone I have worked with, but it takes two to tango. Friendship is a two-way thing and if someone is not interested, I don't think they deserve my attention."

Nargis Fakhri said, "I am very boring. I often get invited for parties but I never attend them. I don't enjoy partying."

Nargis Fakhri is an early sleeper. She confessed that she would rather be off to bed than be at a party.

While there have been never-ending speculations about Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra dating each other on and off, she made headlines in 2018 for her alleged relationship with Hollywood's music director and producer, Matt Alonzo. She shared this picture, with a romantic caption that read: The most romantic story is not Romeo and Juliet who died together but grandma and grandpa who grew old together.

Though Nargis never went on record to admit the same, gossip was abuzz that the couple started seeing each other in October 2017 and were living together in Los Angeles. Nargis Fakhri and Matt both got their names' initials inked, 'MN' with a 'his-and-her' crown.

Nargis and Matt first met early in 2017 when the filmmaker introduced her to singer Zora Randhawa, who was planning a single with rapper Snoop Dog. The duo developed a close camaraderie while Matt was directing the track's music video. They also brought in Christmas 2018 together, which was filled with PDA on their social media handles. However, they broke up.

The parting wasn't a happy one as they deleted their loved-up pictures from their respective social media accounts. And at the same time, B-Town was buzzing that Nargis Fakhri and ex-flame Uday Chopra were warming up to each other again. 'She's nursing a broken heart and Uday is the shoulder to cry on,' said a source.

Nargis Fakhri is now dating New York-based chef Justin Santos. The actress looks extremely happy to be in the company of her beau Justin, and their Instagram pictures together are proof of it!

On the work front, Nargis was last seen in Amavas, which was a horror movie. The film also featured Sachiin Joshi, Vivan Bhathena, Mona Singh and Ali Asgar. Directed by Bhushan Patel, Amavas flopped at the box office.

Nargis Fakhri will also be seen with Sanjay Dutt in the film Torbaaz. They shot in Kyrgyzstan. Nargis plays Dutt's love interest in the film.
