The makers of Salman Khan-production Kaagaz hosted a grand screening of the film at a popular dubbing studio in Juhu, Mumbai. We have pictures.

Kaagaz, a satirical comedy is all set to release on January 7. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. They recently hosted a screen of the Salman Khan production at a popular dubbing studio in Juhu, Mumbai. The event was graced by several celebrities including Kaagaz's director Satish Kaushik. Anil Kapoor also attended the screening of Kaagaz. The veteran actor opted for a black t-shirt, pants and a brown jacket for the event. He donned a black protective mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Kaagaz is based in a small village in UP, the story is about a man who was declared dead on official papers and will wheel around his journey to prove himself alive. It is based on the real story of Lal Bihari Mritak with story, concept, and direction By Satish Kaushik. The film is presented by Salman Khan Films.

The film provides an sarcastic commentary on the flawed system of land resources in India and the struggle of a common man that comes tailing with it. A humorous take with Pankaj Tripathi as Bharat Lal with Monal Gajjar, Mita Vashisht, Amar Upadhyay and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.
Jatin Sarna and Pulkit Samrat posed for the photographers at the event. Talking about the film in a recent interview, Pankaj Tripathi said, "Kaagaz is a brilliantly written true story. It is a quirky, black comedy & depicts the common man's humorous journey on identity crisis. My character will be quite different from some of my recent ventures and I am excited to be a part of such an inspiring story".
The film also has a poem recited by Salman Khan. "Salman has recited a very good poem in the film, which comes in the beginning and at the end of the film. It is a great poem written by Aseem Ahmed Abbasi. Salman had recited it so well that we decided to make a video also for promotion. It is based on the theme of 'Kaagaz' -- how 'kaagaz' (paper) is important in our lives," Satish told IANS.
Kaagaz marks Satish's comeback as a director after the 2014 release, Gang Of Ghosts. The film will release digitally on Zee 5 on January 7.
