The last few days, both, the media and social media was abuzz with the engagement ceremony of the award-winning film maker Guneet Monga with Sunny Kapoor. She had taken to social media and poured her heart out in the form of a letter that had a love-story. The icing on the cake was that, it had a strong connection to Shah Rukh Khan and his film iconic film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’! Today, the film maker got married to Sunny Kapoor in an intimate wedding ceremony, which was attended by their close friends and friends from the industry.

After the wedding, Guneet took to social media and posted another heartfelt note. This time round, it was about her wedding. She wrote, “With the unconditional love and blessings of our Guruji, elders, friends and family we took our vows to start our forever, today. I had my parents with me in spirit and in small details of my wedding festivities and rituals”.
She continued, “I know they’re watching us from above and beaming. It’s surreal to have found a family so pure and warm in Sunny and his parents who have made me feel so incredibly special and loved already”.
Guneeet added, "In putting together our wedding we experienced countless moments that felt so special, we felt dearly protected and celebrated. It’s like the universe came together to make our divine union happen".
They got married in front of the holy Guru Granth Sahib at the 4 Bungalows Gurdwara in Mumbai. The couple was looking extremely adorable in their respective wedding attire. While Guneet Monga wore a stunning wedding dress created by designers Rimple and Harpreet Narula, her husband Sunny Kapoor chose to wear his wedding attire which had been designed by the Delhi-based fashion designer Sulakshana Jasra.
For the unversed, while Gurmeet Monga happens to be the CEO of the Mumbai based production company ‘Sikhya Entertainment’, Sunny Kapoor happens to be a businessman by profession. The two had met on a dating app.
