'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' is a light-hearted rom-com starring Shruti Haasan, Sonu Sood and Girish Kumar portraying as Sona, Raghuveer and Ram respectively. 

When Ram falls in love with Sona, her brother Raghuveer asks him to prove himself worthy of marrying Sona. The movie shows the struggles that Raguveer faced while raising Sona as they both were orphans and shows the loving relationship of a brother and sister. 

Fiza is the story of a young girl who is on a search hunt of his brother post the Bombay riots of 1993 and soon realises that he has joined a terrorist group. The movie explores how she tries to convince her brother to leave the organisation and come back home.

The film ends with a tragic end as in a turn of events, Fiza has to stab her beloved brother. The role of siblings is portrayed by Karishma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.

Krodh follows the story of a short-tempered young man essayed by Suniel Shetty who has raised his five younger sisters with great struggles.

He wants them to marry in good families and lead happy lives but chaos ensues as one of them marries against his wishes and later her marriage fails. The movie explores the complex nature of a brother and sister relationship. 

'Dil Dhadakne Do' is a modern age drama directed by Zoya Akhtar which focuses on the life of a rich family, the Mehras who are living a very happy life, on paper. The movie examines the strained relationships in the family, questions the hypocrites about their morals and values. The Mehra siblings stand with each other through thick and thin and lookout for each other even if there's no one to rely on. This sibling relationship depiction is one of the best in modern day classics. 

'My Brother... Nikhil' follows the life of Nikhil, an ambitious achiever whose life turns upside down after he is detected HIV positive. Nikhil's parents, friends diswon him and he is thrown out of the State Swimming Team.

During these tough times, his sister Anamika is always there by his side and even gets him out of jail. 'My Brother... Nikhil' shows the special loving bond of a brother and siter that overrides everything. The movie is set in Goa and Juhi Chawla essays the role of Anamika and Sanjay Suri plays the role of Nikhil. 

Chup Chup Ke is a comedy-drama starring Paresh Rawal, Shahid Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Rajpal Yadav, Kareena Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Anupam Kher.

The story depicts the story of a dumb girl who is not getting married and how her brother wants to ensure her happiness by marrying her to a good family. It shows the overprotective and possessive side of Suneil Shetty's character towards his sister, played by Kareena Kapoor.

'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' is the story of two siblings—Prashant and Jasbir—who are separated in childhood against their wishes due to their parents' divorce. Later in their lives, Prashant goes on a hunt to find Jasbir, who has now turned into a hippie named Janice and doesn’t have any memory of him.

As the story progresses forward, we see efforts by Prashant to make his sister remember him but the movie ends with a tragic suicide by Janice. It is a heart-wrenching story and the leads are portrayed by Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman. 

'Sarbjit' is a heartwarming and emotional story of a sister trying to prove her brother innocent who accidentally crossed the border and reached Pakistan. Sarbjit is portrayed by Randeep Hooda and his siter Dalbir is portrayed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. 

Sarbjit shows the bond between the brother and the sister and their care and love for each other in times of problem. Sarbjit helps her sister come out of her abusive marriage and Dalbir spends her entire life in the hope of delivering justice to Sarbjit. 

'Welcome' is Anees Bazmee's multi stareer comedy-drana film starring Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.

Apart from the many plots that intertwine within the story, the premises of the movie is set with the brother-sister relationship of Nana Patekar portraying the infamous don Uday and his estranged sister Sanjana portrayed by Katrina Kaif.

'Josh' is the story of two orphaned fraternal twins Max and Shirley essayed by Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Set in the town of Vasco in Goa, the movie largely focuses on inter-gang rivalry which is further exacerbated because of Shirley falling in love with a rival gang memeber. Throughout the movie, we see the twin's love and care for each other despite unfavourable circumstances. 

'Raksha Bandhan' follows the story of the family of Lala who is the eldest one and has four younger sisters. The movie follows Lala's one vow to his dying mother to marry off his sisters before his own marriage.

 The movie also explores themes of social perils like dowry and its after effects. Throughout the movie we can see the special bond that Akshay Kumar shares with his siters.
