Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar left for her heavenly abode on Sunday morning at the age of 92. After her death, Dr Pratit Samdani, who was treating the singer at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, issued a statement. Anupam Kher, Ashutosh Gowariker, Javed Akhtar, Anil Desai, Sachin Tendulkar and a lot of celebrities have reached Lataji's residence at Prabhakunj to pay last respects.

The mortal remains of the singer were taken from the hospital at 12.30 to her home Prabhu Kunj. Her mortal remains will be there at 3 pm. Earlier, the Central Government announced the two-day national mourning to be observed in memory of Lata Mangeshkar. The Bharat Ratna awardee was admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with pneumonia and coronavirus in January. Mangeshkar is survived by four younger siblings- Asha Bhosle, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar. In picture: Sachin Tendulkar at Prabhu Kunj

Shraddha Kapoor, who visited the singer last night, along with Tejaswini Kolhapure, Hridaynath Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, also arrived at Lataji's residence.

Sharmila Thackeray and Kunda Thackeray, Raj Thackeray's wife and mother, were snapped at Lata Mangeshkar's home who arrived to offer their condolences.

Music composer Lalit Pandit of the famous duo Jatin-Lalit, who worked on most of Lata Mangeshkar's songs in the last two decades, has many memories of the music icon but what stands out the most for him is her crackling sense of humour that helped break the ice. He was seen with his entire family at Lataji's home.

Bhushan Kumar was also snapped at Prabhu Kunj.

Urmila Matondkar arrived with her husband at Lata Mangeshkar's residence in Mumbai.

Nitin Mukesh shared his condolences with media as he arrived at Mata Mangeshkar's home.

Asha Bhosle was also seen at Lataji's home.
