Alia Bhatt turned producer in 2022 with Netflix's 'Darlings' starring Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma. She launched her production house Eternal Sunshine Productions. She recently turned executive producer for the web series 'Poacher'. Her upcoming project 'Jigra' will also see her play the lead as well as don the producer's hat.
Guneet Monga scripted history by bringing an Oscar home after she won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film 'Period. End of Sentence'. She bagged another one for producing the documentary short film 'The Elephant Whisperers' under her banner Sikhya Entertainment. Over the years she has backed films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', ‘Masaan’, ‘Pagglait’, and ‘Kathal’ among others.
Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas launched Purple Pebble Pictures which puts incredible regional cinema in the spotlight. She has backed films like ‘Ventilator’, ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’, ‘Paani’, ‘Evil Eye’, and the latest ‘To Kill a Tiger’ which has been nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Award at the 96th Academy Awards.
Anushka Sharma launched Clean Slate Filmz and produced movies like 'NH10', 'Phillauri', 'Pari', and 'Bulbbul'.
Kriti Sanon, who has mesmerised everyone with her acting skills has taken to production. The upcoming film ‘Do Patti’ will be released on Netflix and will be her maiden production under Blue Butterfly Films. The film shows 90s queen Kajol playing a cop who suspects Kriti.

She has co-produced most of these projects under Balaji Motion Pictures with her mother Shoba Kapoor, and other eminent producers.
Rhea Kapoor is the daughter of legendary actor Anil Kapoor. She started her career as a producer with the 2010 film 'Aisha' starring her sister Sonam Kapoor. She went on to produce films like 'Khoobsurat', 'Veere Di Wedding', and 'Thank You for Coming'. Her upcoming film is 'Crew' starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu.
Deepika Padukone turned producer in 2020 with 'Chhapaak' directed by Meghna Gulzar. She backed the film under her banner Ka Productions and also played the lead role. She further went on to produce films like ‘83’ and ‘Gehraiyaan’.
Kareena Kapoor Khan's debut production venture is 'The Buckingham Murders' directed by Hansal Mehta. Touted as a thriller, the film shows Kareena essay the role of Jas Bhamra, a detective. In a post on Instagram, she wrote, "Jas was a character I have been waiting to play for the last 23 years, being a huge fan of the detective series genre."
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan commenced her production journey with Red Chillies Entertainment and backed movies ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Ra.One’, ‘Om Shanti Om’, and ‘Jawan’ to name a few.
