Inder Kumar: Remembering Salman Khan's 'Wanted' co-star

Bollywood actor Inder Kumar, who starred in Salman Khan's 'Wanted', passed away on July 28, 2017. On his birth anniversary (August 26), here's everything you want to know about the '90s hero.

Inder Kumar died due to a massive heart attack in Mumbai on July 28, 2017. He was 43. According to family sources, the actor suffered a heart attack while he was at his residence in Four Bungalows, Andheri.

Inder Kumar worked in several films and starred alongside Salman Khan in Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and Wanted. He was working on a film titled Phati Padi Hai Yaar before his untimely demise.

Inder Kumar had also featured in Ekta Kapoor's long-running TV soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir Virani.

Inder Kumar had been married thrice. In 2003, Inder got married to his mentor Rajoo Kariya's daughter Sonal Kariya. However, the couple separated that year itself. Inder Kumar has a daughter named Khushi from Sonal Kariya.

In 2009, Inder Kumar married Kamaljeet Kaur, however, they split within 2 months citing irreconcilable differences. Four years later, the Wanted actor married Pallavi Sarraf. The couple was blessed with a daughter named Bhavana in 2014. In picture: Inder Kumar with wife Pallavi.

Inder Kumar hit headlines in 2014 when a model accused him of sexually assaulting her on the pretext of giving her a role in a Bollywood movie.

In April 2014, Inder Kumar was arrested by the Versova police after a woman registered an FIR alleging that he had raped and assaulted her.

Inder Kumar denied the allegations saying that he had a consensual relationship with the woman. He was later granted bail.

Inder Kumar's death came as a shock to many, as the actor was in his early forties and did not have any ailment as such.

But soon after, his near and dear ones claimed that he was suffering from stress due to lack of projects and financial troubles.

Inder Kumar had worked in more than 20 films in the Hindi film industry, but, sadly his journey ended too soon!
