Sunny Leone was the shining star from India at Cannes 2023. She was the only actress from the Indian film industry to be at the festival representing a film. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, 'Kennedy' also starred Rahul Bhat and the film had its world premiere at the Festival in France

While Sunny Leone was sharing pictures of her looks from the festival, the actress only recently shared pictures of her stunning look for the first red carpet walk at the festival. She looked absolutely stunning in a wine-coloured velvet gown

The gorgeous outfit was designed by Gemy Maalouf. The official website of the designer describes the dress as "strapless dress featuring a draped velvet front with an asymmetrical cape-like sleeve, and a fully sequined back". The outfit costs USD 2,953 (Rs 2,44,134)

Sunny Leone opted for smoky dramatic eyes to go along with the outfit. She accessorised with wine-coloured earrings and left her hair open

Reportedly, 'Kennedy' received a 7-minute-long standing ovation. The film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought to be dead, but still operating for the corrupt system, and looking for redemption. 'Kennedy' is amongst the only two films from India this year to be the official selections at the festival this year

"The proudest moment of my career so far! Thank you @anuragkashyap10 for this moment! And @itsrahulbhat for letting me be share the screen with you in this amazing performance! Love you both," wrote Leone after the premiere of the film sharing a picture with Kashyap and Bhat
