In Pics: Sonu Nigam makes his first public appearance after being attacked in Chembur

Bollywood's legendary playback singer, Sonu Nigam has been hitting headlines since last night ever since he got attacked at a music event in Chembur, Mumbai. For the unversed, on February 20, Sonu and his team was allegedly attacked and manhandled by a local MLA's son. As per reports, the unpleasant incident occurred in Chembur Gymkhana and the video of the same has now spread like wildfire on social media platforms. Reportedly, the MLA's son wanted to click a photo with the singer. After being refused, he pushed Sonu as well as one of his team members. Fortunately, no major casualties were reported and Sonu escaped the ruckus unharmed. A day after the shocking incident, Sonu Nigam made his first public appearance on Tuesday morning at the Mumbai airport. On Monday, February 20 Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and his team was allegedly attacked and manhandled at a musical event by a local MLA's son in Chembur. 

According to reports, the singer who was performing at the Chembur Gymkhana was attacked and manhandled by the son of a local MLA who, apparently, wanted to click a picture with the singer. 

After escaping the unfortunate episode unharmed, on Monday, Nigam reached the Chembur police station late in the night to register an official complaint with the police. 

After the crazy brawl in Chembur, the songster made his first public appearance at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday morning. Dressed in a stylish camouflage co-ord set, the singer appeared perfectly fine as he made his way to the entry gate of the airport. The singer even obliged paps with some photos. 

The soulful singer who rules many hearts with his magical voice waved and blew kisses to paps, assuring them that he is doing fine.
