After his last major release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Aamir Khan reportedly took a break from his shooting schedules as he wanted to spend more time with his family. The actor, who is being seen in a special appearance in this week’s release ‘Salaam Venky’, recently performed the traditional ‘kalash-puja’ at Aamir Khan Productions' office, which is located in Mumbai.

The photos of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao was shared on social media by Advait Chandan, who had also directed Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’

During a film event in Delhi, Aamir had revealed that he was supposed to do a ‘beautiful film with a beautiful script’ called ‘Champions’, after the release of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. He added that, after working for 35 long years, he just wanted to take a break for some time (from his work).

Aamir Khan was joined by his ex-wife Kiran Rao in the ‘kalash-puja’ rituals. They were joined by the staff members of ‘Aamir Khan Productions’. 

As for this week’s release, ‘Salaam Venky’, Aamir Khan plays a guest role. The film, which has been directed by Revathy, stars Kajol and Vishal Jethwa in the main lead roles. 

After the pictures were shared on social media, it became viral in no time. Many even started contemplating that Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are coming together for a film. 

Even though Aamir Khan’s next film is unknown so far, its being rumored that he had given his nod for the remake of the Spanish blockbuster ‘Campeones’, which was released in 2018. The remake was reportedly told to be   directed by RS Prasanna, who had previously directed ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’. There has been no official announcement or confirmation regarding this film.
