Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sensharma: Soon after the rumour mill became abuzz with reports of Konkona Sen Sharma being pregnant, she secretly married Ranvir Shorey on September 3, 2010, at her Mumbai residence. However, in 2015, their fans were surprised when the Wake Up Sid actress announced the couple had decided to get separated. It was September 14, 2015, when the actress wrote that Ranvir and she had decided to separate, but will continue to be friends and continue to co-parent their son, Haroon. And now, reports of the couple heading for divorce are doing rounds.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta: Aamir Khan filed for divorce from Reena Dutta after 15 years of marriage in 2002. Reena took custody of both the children - Junaid and Ira. In 2005, Aamir married Kiran Rao who was one of the assistant directors of Lagaan.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan: Their fairy-tale marriage came to an end in 2013 after Hrithik announced his wife's decision to separate after 16 years of being together. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora: Hours after attending the Justin Bieber concert with their teenage son Arhaan, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora were granted a divorce by the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai on May 11, 2017, ending their 18-year marriage. Malaika got physical custody of Arhaan, while Arbaaz has access whenever he wants.

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Babhani The couple decided to part ways after 16 years of marriage. Though there were many theories behind the split, the Akhtars have maintained that it is just 'a matter of growing apart' over the years. Farhan and Adhuna were granted a divorce in April 2017.

Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia: After being married for 20 years, the couple mutually decided to part ways. The duo announced their separation through a joint statement in 2018. Arjun and Mehr had met during their modelling stint and married in 1998. They have two daughters - Mahikaa and Myra. Reportedly the couple had been living separately for months and had taken a six-month break to 're-evaluate' their relationship.

Imran Khan and Avantika Malik: Imran and Avantika got married in 2011 after dating for a long time. The couple had never felt the need to keep their relationship hush-hush, and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in 2014. Back in May 2019, reports started circulating that Avantika and Imran were taking a break from their marriage. Currently, there have been reports of things going haywire in Imran Khan and Avantika Malik's paradise and the couple has separated from each other, and considering divorce.

Sahil Sangha and Dia Mirza: After being together for 11 years, Dia Mirza announced her separation from husband Sahil Sangha. Dia Mirza shared a statement on Twitter confirming the news and said that she and Sahil will continue being friends and will be there for each other.

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh: In 1991, Saif Ali Khan made headlines when he married Amrita Singh, who is twelve years his senior, against his parents' wishes. The relationship ended after 13 years as Saif started making news more for his link-ups than his movies. Mandana Karimi-Gaurav Gupta: 'Bigg Boss 9' contestant Mandana Karimi married businessman Gaurav Gupta in 2017. However, soon the actress filed a domestic violence case mentioning that Gupta insisted on her conversion to Hinduism ahead of their wedding. The Iranian model-actress was also asked to quit her acting career as the profession was deemed "incompatible with his family's status in the society". Things came to a halt when Gupta barred her from entering the house. She also alleged harassment by her mother-in-law.
