The film narrates the wartime journey and personal growth of Captain Balram Mehta (Ishaan Khatter) of the 45 Cavalry Tank Squadron.

Alongside his siblings, Captain Mehta experiences the realities of combat on the eastern front. The title of the film is derived from the PT-76, an iconic amphibious war tank used during the conflict, which was endearingly nicknamed “Pippa” for its resemblance to a floating tin can. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan.
