Rahul Bose turns 57 today. He is an actor, director, screenwriter, and social activist. He has worked in front of the camera in the Hindi, Bengali, and Tamil film industries. His first acting role was at the age of six when he played the lead character in a school play. During his school days, he was also introduced to boxing and rugby and was coached in cricket by former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. 'Bulbbul' (2020)

Rahul Bose essays the role of Varun Roy, the captain of the Indian cricket team, in this fantasy sports drama. He is introduced to an exceptionally good batsman, Karan, and the two form a strong bond. The film was released in 2007 and is one of Bose's most popular works.
'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' (2006)
This Hindi romantic comedy stars Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose in lead roles. The film explores the intricacies of modern relationships. A sequel, 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects', was released in 2014 with Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles
