How did you kick off the season?

We just returned from a short vacation to celebrate Mukti's birthday. I woke up and it was pouring! I love the monsoon, the sound of the rain and the vibe in the city. Mumbai means monsoon for me and I had been waiting since long so waking up to the sound of rain just made my day.

What food or drink do you indulge in during the monsoon?

I love chai and 'adrak wali chai' is what I indulge in. If you have one cup of chai normally, you can have two because it's pouring and you can enjoy looking at people outside from your window. That's my favourite thing to do.

What is your favourite place to visit in Mumbai during the monsoon?

My li'l one (Aryaveer) loves short drives so we keep going to Carter Road with him, he loves seeing the wiper of the car going swish, swish.Short drives in Bandra are something we do often.

Favourite rain song on your playlist?

'Rimjhim Gire Sawan' by Kishore Kumar.

Favourite monsoon memory in Mumbai?

The time when Mumbai got flooded is both my favourite and not-so-favourite memory. It brought the family closer because all of us were stuck in different parts of the city and yet connected. I love the spirit of Mumbai because everyone is hustling.
