Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Monday said the Indian film industry lost "another great" in the death of noted actor Sulochana Latkar, his colleague of several films. Known for her innumerable mother roles in Hindi and Marathi cinema, Sulochana died on Sunday due to a prolonged illness at a hospital here. She was 94.Bachchan, who had played Sulochana's on-screen in the 1974 film 'Majboor,' paid tribute to the actor on his personal blog. Read full story here

Actor Gufi Paintal who is best known for playing the role of Shakuni mama in BR Chopra’s TV show 'Mahabharat' (1980), passed away on Monday. He was 79. The actor was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai a couple of days ago after his health deteriorated. As per reports, Paintal had a heart failure and passed away at around 9 am on Monday morning. Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's latest film 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' was released in theatres on June 2. The film had a decent opening at the box office as it collected over Rs 5 crore on day 1. From there on, the film has only seen an upward trend at the box office. The film has earned Rs 22.59 crore in the first weekend of its release at the domestic box office.
