The film, based on the Indian women's national field hockey team, celebrates its 13th years of release on August 10. Sagarika Ghatge: In the 2007 film 'Chak De India', Sagarika Ghatge played a headstrong hockey player Preeti Sabarwal, who dumps her cricketer boyfriend for undermining her passion for hockey. She made her Marathi debut with 'Premachi Goshta' in 2013. Sagarika is now married to former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan. She was last seen on screen in ALTBalaji's 2019 web series BOSS: Baap of Special Services.

Vidya Malavade: She started her career in Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt's 'Inteha' (2003). She gained recognition after acting in 'Chak De! India' where she played the role of Vidya Sharma, goalkeeper and captain of the Indian women's national hockey team. She has also acted in '1920: Evil Returns' and 'Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!', among other films. She was also a contestant on 'Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi'. She now teaches yoga and her Instagram pictures are sure to give you fitness goals! Her most recent release was the film Heartbeats. She was also seen in Kaali season 2 (2020) recently. She was also part of Inside Edge season 1 (2019).

Shilpa Shukla: She played the role of the most experienced player, Bindiya Naik, in the team. Shilpa Shukla has also acted in 'B.A. Pass', 'Bhindi Baazaar Inc.', 'Crazy Cukkad Family', and critically acclaimed film 'Khamosh Pani: Silent Waters'. She was recently seen in the 2019 film Bombairiya, and the web series Mentalhood.

Chitrashi Rawat: Very few know that Chitrashi is a former Indian hockey player. She began playing hockey as a left-striker at the age of 17 for Uttarakhand. She was signed on for the role of Komal Chautala in 'Chak De! India' by the producers after an audition in Jabalpur. Rawat went on to work in several films and TV shows. Besides 'Chak De! India', her acting credits include films 'Fashion', 'Luck', 'Yeh Dooriyan' and 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' and TV show 'FIR'.

Anaitha Nair: She played the role of the spunky Aliya Bose in 'Chak De! India'. She has acted in several other Bollywood films including 'Well Done Abba', 'Aashayein', and 'Dum Maaro Dum'. Her most recent releases are Ekaant directed by Sunil Pillai, and Force directed by Nishikant Kamat. Anaitha is married and settled in Hong Kong. She is a hairstylist now. Shubhi Mehta: Not many know that Shubhi was a 'Roadies' (Season 3) contestant. Two years later, she made her Bollywood debut with 'Chak De! India' where she played the role of Gunjan Lakhani. Shubhi has now quit showbiz and is part of the corporate world. She got married in 2016.

Tanya Abrol: Remember the short-tempered Balbir Kaur? Tanya has shed some kilos since her Bollywood debut and has got a complete makeover. She has acted in TV shows, most popular being CID, and Punjabi films. She is active on social media and keeps sharing pictures that give a peek into her personal life. Her photos on Instagram are surely a treat for fans.

Sandia Furtado: Sandia, a keen hockey player herself, essayed the character of Nethra Reddy in 'Chak De! India'. She is now a PR professional. She married London-based Matteo Busa in 2016.

Arya Menon: She essayed the character of Gul Iqbal in 'Chak De! India'. She went on to feature in a few commercials, but Arya switched from acting to become an advertising producer.

Seema Azmi: She played the role of Rani Dispotta in 'Chak De! India'. She is a National School of Drama alumnus and has worked in films like 'Water', 'Aarakshan' and 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'. Seema also starred in Sunny Deol's Mohalla Assi.
