Salim Khan: The patriarch of the Khan family, Salim Khan, initially pursued acting but soon discovered his true calling as a screenwriter. After featuring in supporting roles in 25 films, he teamed up with Javed Akhtar to form the iconic scriptwriting duo, Salim–Javed. Their collaboration led to the creation of unforgettable screenplays for blockbusters like "Andaz," "Seeta Aur Geeta," "Zanjeer," "Sholay," and "Don."

Salim Khan's personal life is equally intriguing. He has two marriages - his first to Sushila Charak, resulting in four children - Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira Khan Agnihotri.

In 1981, Khan married the talented actress Helen Richardson, known simply as Helen in the film industry. Their family expanded when they adopted Arpita Khan.

2nd Generation
Salman Khan: The firstborn of Salim Khan, over his illustrious career spanning three decades, Salman Khan has transformed from the quintessential lover boy of '90s films like "Saajan" and "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" to the action-packed hero of "Dabangg" and "Ek Tha Tiger" today.

Arbaaz Khan: He made his debut in "Daraar" (1996) and featured in several multi-starrer films like "Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya," "Hulchul," and "Malaamal Weekly." In 2010, he ventured into film production with "Dabangg," marking his first production under Arbaaz Khan Productions. His personal life includes his marriage to model and actress Malaika Arora in 1998, leading to the birth of their son, Arhaan, in 2002. Unfortunately, the couple announced their separation in 2016, culminating in a divorce in 2017.

Sohail Khan: The youngest of Salim Khan's sons, Sohail initially carved a niche as a film producer and director. His directorial debut came with the 1997 action thriller "Auzaar." He then directed his brothers Salman and Arbaaz in the successful film "Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya" (1998) and "Hello Brother." Sohail has also dabbled in acting, featuring in films like "Maine Dil Tujhko Diya" and "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?." Arpita Khan, known for her strong family bonds and cheerful personality, is a loving mother to two wonderful children, Ayat Sharma and Ahil Sharma.

While Salman Khan undoubtedly stands as one of Bollywood's biggest superstars today, his path to stardom was paved by his father, Salim Khan.

Interestingly, Salim Khan initially came to Mumbai with dreams of becoming an actor, but destiny had other plans for him, leading him to become a highly successful screenwriter instead.
