Recalling his shoot with Allu Arjun, the photographer said, "I shot Allu Arjun after 'Pushpa: The Rise' where he did his famous pose for Coke. It just hits you that the country has gone mad behind these things and we are shooting them."
Speaking about his long association Salman Khan, Gowariker said, "Aamir and Salman are two pillars for me along with Ashu, my brother (Ashutosh Gowariker.) Ashu gave me by break by requesting Aamir to shoot with me. Within a year I met Salman, through Karisma Kapoor. They say if Salman likes you your life is set."
Sharing the story behind the 'Judwaa' poster he said, "Any picture that you see of Salman from 1997 to 2002-03, I've shot each one of them, every photo was shot in and around Galaxy apartments. Once, Salman removed his gunji and tied it around his forehead, there was a fisherman's boat outside Galaxy, where he posed. I shot that picture on negative just for fun. In the evening, Sajid Nadiadwala came home and said this is my poster for 'Judwaa.'
Going down memory lane about the 'Chennai Express' poster he said, "When you have Shah Rukh and Deepika in front of you what more can you ask for? The beauty of that poster was the 'gunda gang,' of her father, they were hilarious with their energy and shouting, screaming in every shot."
Recalling Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's wedding portrait he quipped, "I didn't shoot the entire wedding for Saif and Bebo, they wanted me to shoot that one particular portrait because the outfits were being worn by the third generation of the family."
