Alia Bhatt was all smiles and stylish in her traditional avatar as she arrived for the screening of her film Gangubai Kathiawadi. It's releasing in cinemas tomorrow on February 25. The drama is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi also arrived in an equally etheral avatar at the film's special screening at Yash Raj Studios. 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', which is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, revolves around a maiden sold by a suitor into prostitution and how she becomes a prominent, celebrated figure in the underworld and Kamathipua red-light district.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali always had a penchant for black and at the screening, he carried it off one more time. He completed 25 years as a filmmaker in 2021. His latest release reached the Berlin Film Festival. The magnum opus was screened for the International audience and critics ahead of its theatrical release.

Another stalwart of the industry Javed Akhtar was spotted at the film's screening. The film, which also stars Ajay Devgn, is scheduled to release in theatres on February 25.

Rekha and Sarees are a match made in heaven. The actress greeted the media with a namaste at the film's screening. The Alia Bhatt-starrer, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bhansali Production Private Ltd, is scheduled for release this Friday. A bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and JK Maheswari suggested the name change to the respondents which included the production house.

Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have collaborated on three films together and all blockbusters. The actress had to step out to see what the filmmaker has made now. The film is reportedly based on the novel "The Mafia Queens of Mumbai".

Talking about the film, a bench of the Supreme Court ordered while deciding to hear the plea of Babuji Rawji Shah, who claims to be the adoptive son of Gangubai, against the Bombay High Court's order declining him various reliefs such as interim stay on the release of the movie.

The complainant had earlier moved the high court seeking an order restraining the writers/publishers of the novel from creating any third-party rights or writing any other story on the life of his mother (Gangubai Kathiawadi). He had also sought a stay on release of the movie 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'.

Arjun Kapoor too was smiling from ear to ear ahead of the film's screening as he was clicked in his car. Arjun Kapoor's latest Instagram post is proof of the fact that he has a great sense of humour. Taking to the social media application, Arjun dropped a picture of Ranbir with the Taj Mahal in the distance. "When Ranbir Kapoor the artist emerged inspired by the Taj + Me," he captioned the image.

Malaika Arora also was clicked with a quirky expression on her face. Well, Arjun's post has garnered several likes and comments. Reacting to the post, Rakul Preet Singh, who recently visited the historical monument with her beau Jackky Bhagnani, commented, "Hahaha finally u both saw the Taj. Seeing Rakul's comment Arjun could not resist being funny. Replying to Rakul, the 'Two States' star commented, "@rakulpreet ya he saw it with me first instead of going with Alia."

Vicky Kaushal kept it cool and causual at the film's screening. He got married to Katrina Kaif in Rajasthan on December 9. A video of a SpiceJet air hostess dancing to the 'Dholida' song from Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is going viral on social media. The air hostess, identified as Uma Meenakshi, can be seen nonchalantly grooving to the song.

Media's favourite Sara Ali Khan was all smiles and radiant at the screening. She has always spoken very fondly of Alia Bhatt in her interviews. 

Kriti Sanon nailed her silver outfit for the day, the actress was recently spotted at Bhansali's office as well and a collaboration could happen soon.
