Ankita Lokhande: I like the feeling that I'm someone's wife now

Ankita Lokhande whose film 'The Last Coffee' has just released and deals with a couple going through a divorce says in real life she couldn't be happier to be married to husband Vicky Jain. Watch the interview on mid-day's Youtube page.

Ankita told mid-day.com, "At times I feel responsible as a wife but Vicky never made me feel that way because he himself is so responsible. I know he will do things but it's cute, I like the feeling that I'm someone's wife now."

Ankita says she has the ability to see through people's intentions. "I recognise fake people and those who are trying to impress me. I want honesty bacause that's how I make my relationships. I choose my people wisely and put in a lot of effort towards the same."

Ankita says that Vicky is yet to catch 'The Last Coffee' as well as her popular show 'Pavitra Rishta,' "Vicky is the last person to watch because he has no time. He's in Bilaspur right now and I told him we have to watch The Last Coffee' together because I want to see his expressions."

On the work front, she will next be seen in 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar' with Randeep Hooda. Opening up about her role, the actress told mid-day.com, "I'm playing Yamunabai, Veer Savarkar's wife. He's an unsung hero because people don't know too much about his life. People don't know what kind of a part she played in Veer Savarkar's life, that's my journey in the film. I'm playing a role that ages from 16 to 60 years. I got to portray an entire graph and I love such roles."

When quizzed about who she would invite on a coffee date the actress was quick to reply, "Shah Rukh Khan, Salman and Aamir Khan."
