Film producer Ramesh Taurani was spotted at the actor's residence as he arrived to pay his last respects. 

Riteish Deshmukh too was seen arriving at Akshay Kumar's residence. The two have been good friends for a long time and collaborated on multiple films like 'Heyy Babyy' and the franchise. Deshmukh even had a cameo in Kumar's 2014 comedy 'Entertainment'. 

'Manmarziyaan; writer Kanika Dhillon was clicked by the media at Akshay Kumar's residence. Dhillon, a few months back, censured writer and director Navjot Gulati on his tweet about how to get top billing as a writer. She was critical of the way Gulati described the manner in which he feels a screen-writer can get due credit in the industry, and called him out for his sexist remark.

Director Sajid Khan, who's one of the closest friends of Kumar in the industry, also paid a visit to pay his last respects. The two have done films, hosted award ceremonies, and been a part of many television shows. Their chemistry and camaraderie always manage to impress people.

Bobby Deol was too spotted arriving at the actor's residence. The two worked together for the first time in 'Ajnabee' in 2001, and were then seen in films like 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo', 'Dosti- Friends Forever', 'Thank You', and more recently 'Housefull 4'. 

Akshay Kumar was clicked by the media at his residence. He broke the news of his mother's unfortunate demise on his Twitter account and wrote- "She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti."

Also spotted with the actor was his wife Twinkle Khanna. 

Sanjay Dutt was also one of the people from the industry to pay his last respects. Dutt and Kumar have worked in films like 'Amaanat', 'Blue', 'Desi Boyz', and are now coming together for 'Prithviraj'. 

Director Rohit Shetty, who has 'Sooryavanshi' coming up with Akshay Kumar, was also spotted at the actor's residence. The filmmaker was Kumar's body double in his 1994 film 'Suhaag'. 

T-Series head Bhushan Kumar was spotted too. The two have collaborated on multiple films over the course of their careers. 

Producer and Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah was also seen arriving at the actor's residence. Shah and Kumar have worked on films like 'Aankhen', 'Waqt- The Race Against Time', 'Namastey London', 'Singh Is Kinng', 'Action Replayy', and 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.'
