Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan were out and about this weekend as they kick-started the promotions of their upcoming comic caper Coolie No 1. The two sizzled in their looks as they happily posed for the photographers in Juhu, Mumbai. (All pictures: Yogen Shah).
Talking about Varun, the actor showed off his handsomeness in a pink shirt with white polka dots which he paired with denim. A pair of blue sneakers enhanced his look.
For the outing, Sara looked chic in her sleeveless denim short dress which showed off her toned legs. The highlight of her dress was her belt at the waist. She completed the outfit with a pair of white stilettoes and long danglers and opted for simple make-up. She let her open hair do the rest of the talk.
It's no news this comedy is the remake of the 1995 blockbuster, Coolie No. 1, which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. In the remake, Varun and Sara Ali Khan reprise the lead roles. This time, the ensemble has Paresh Rawal, Shikha Talsania, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and Jaaved Jaaferi.
The film is directed by Varun's father David Dhawan, who interestingly helmed the original one. After Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2, this is the third film of the father-son duo. Given the cult classic that film was, it will be exciting to see what new and fresh the makers have infused in the remake.
Apart from Coolie No 1, Varun will also be seen in Mr. Lele. He will share screen space with Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor and was all set to release on January 1, 2021. However, the film has now been pushed till further announcement. The film will be directed by Dhadak fame director Shashank Khaitan.
Talking about Sara Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in Aanand L. Rai's next Atrangi Re, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Atrangi Re has been written by the National Award winner Himanshu Sharma. AR Rahman will be scoring the music. The film is a joint production between Colour Yellow Productions, T-Series and Cape Of Good Films.
