Born on March 5, 1987, Rhea Kapoor is the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and is the sister of actors Sonam K. Ahuja and Harshvardhan Kapoor. She started her career as a film producer with Aisha in 2010 and later produced Khoobsurat in 2014 and Veere Di Wedding in 2018. Talking about the Kapoor siblings' bond - Sonam Kapor, Rhea Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor - Rhea told mid-day, "Sonam loves playing older sister and advises me about who I'm friends with etc. But there's no sibling rivalry. Sonam won't like being a producer and I didn't want to be a heroine. We three siblings have a unique relation with each other. Harsh and I are like buddies - ask me about him and I will say, "Harsh can go jump in a well" while Sona and he have a very elder-sister-younger-brother relationship. They just understand each other even without speaking, and both have the acting keeda in them."

Coming from a family full of actors - Anil Kapoor (dad), Sonam Kapoor (sister), Harshvardhan Kapoor (brother), Sanjay Kapoor (uncle), Arjun Kapoor (cousin), Janhvi Kapoor (cousin), featuring in Bollywood film, however, never crossed Rhea's mind.

"When I was younger everyone was like 'You are going to be an actress'. You know when you are young, you are impressionable but people don't allow you to think for yourself but luckily I went away to college. When I came back, director Ayan Mukerji asked me to assist him on his film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and I went. On the first day on set, I was like there is no chance in hell (that I will be an actor)," said Rhea Kapoor.

Rhea Kapoor still has no desire to star in a Bollywood film. "There is still no chance in hell that I am going to become a Bollywood actress because it is not my personality. It's not just for me. I have no passion for it. I don't love it," she added further.

Though Rhea has grown up watching films, the glamour world never attracted her as she believes she is "too chilled out to be an actor". "I cannot sit holding a crossed lagged poster; I am clumsy person and a control freak. I would be a disaster as an actor! In fact, my personality also reflects on my collection" said the stylist.

Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapor are not mere siblings - they are best buddies too and the former also sees a philosopher and guide in her little sister. "Rhea and I are partners in whatever we do. She is my business partner and my best friend," Sonam Kapoor was quoted saying, during the promotions of their film Khoobsurat in 2014.

Did you know Sonam Kapoor steals her younger sister's clothes? "Sonam also has this annoying habit of taking my clothes without asking me. We fit into each other's clothes very easily. Sona doesn't know how to shop for herself though she is a whiz at mixing and matching her clothes," said Rhea in a candid chat with mid-day.

Rhea Kapoor reminiscing one incident said, "I had bought this new pair of black pants and had warned Sonam not to wear them. Sonam airily said, "I don't need your clothes, I have my own." "When I couldn't find my new pants, I called her up. At first, she said, "I'm at a shoot, don't disturb me," but admitted later, "Riyu, actually I'm wearing them!"

Rhea Kapoor is a workaholic now, just like her father and sister, who can't focus on anything except their work. But this wasn't the case a few years back. Ever since Rhea Kapoor began working on Aisha, she admitted that she became like Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.

Rhea Kapoor is emotionally stronger than her elder sister! "When it comes to convincing our parents, Sonam is very emotional, she gets hysterical; I put things in the right perspective. I'm her translator. Sonam and I are always in each other's room. All our friends are common. We are each other's best friends," said the producer-turned-fashion stylist.

In 2017, the Kapoor sisters - Sonam and Rhea launched their first-ever fashion brand 'Rheson'. Rhea revealed that it was originally Sonam's idea to have their own brand.

Rhea, who has been styling Sonam for quite some time, when asked whose idea it was to come up with a fashion brand and instantly said: "It was Sonam." "Many brands had approached Sonam for endorsement. They wanted to design and start a fashion line with her. But then Sonam came and told me 'Let's make our own brand. Let's do it right'," said Rhea, adding she was the 'Rhe' part of Rheson.

On the personal front, Rhea Kapoor has been dating Karan Boolani for quite a few years now. Apparently, the duo hit it off instantly, ever since they worked together in Rhea's maiden venture Aisha (2010). Karan Boolani was the associate director on their home production Aisha.

In the past, Karan has assisted on Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Wake Up Sid and Aisha (Rhea's film) and later co-directed the second season of Anil Kapoor's television series, 24.

That's Rhea Kapoor's maternal grandmother, Draupadi Hingorani Bhambani, who passed away in May 2017. Rhea posted this adorable picture of hers with her 'Nani' and wrote alongside, "What a lady, what a legacy. I will always remember you as my spirit and my strength nani. I love you forever. #duru [sic]."
