The star cast of Angrezi Medium are going all out to promote their upcoming film, which released this Friday. Radhika channelled her inner desi girl wearing a traditional white salwar suit. She styled her hair with soft curls and put on statement earrings.

The film tells the story of a man who crosses all boundaries, literally and figuratively, to keep his daughter's wish of studying in London alive. Irrfan essays the role of the doting dad, while Radhika Madan plays his ambitious daughter, Tarika.

At the promotions, Radhika tried her hand at making some lip-smacking moti choor laddus.

In a recent interview with mid-day, Radhika said that she considers herself fortunate to have bagged the central role in Angrezi Medium. "I auditioned for the role, and begged to the universe that the film should come my way," she said. "I had to perform two scenes — one where I declare that I want to go to London, and another which is part of the climax. I guess my performance in the latter worked in my favour", she added.

While she found a guiding force in her co-star Irrfan Khan during the shoot, it has been a different story during the promotions. The actor, who was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, is currently on the road to recovery

Speaking about her co-star, she said, "I think of Irrfan sir during promotions every day. He is an institution in acting and a gem of a person. This would have been a different journey if he was here. I hope he gets better soon."

Also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranvir Shorey, Deepak Dobriyal, Pankaj Tripathi, Kiku Sharda, and Dimple Kapadia, Angrezi Medium is directed by Homi Adajania. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios and released worldwide on March 13.
