Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanayata Dutt attended the song launch. For the event, the Munnabhai actor looked dapper in a black t-shirt and trousers, while Maanayata looked beautiful in her all-blue attire. The movie is the remake of the 2010 Telugu political thriller of the same name. In the movie produced by his wife, Sanjay will be playing the role of politician Baldev Pratap Singh.

Ali Fazal also graced the song launch event. The Mirzapur actor opted for a black t-shirt, brown trousers. He teamed up his look with black sneakers and black floral print jacket. In Prasthanam, Ali Fazal plays Ayush Baldev Singh, son of Sanjay Dutt's character Baldev Pratap Singh.

Amyra Dastur looked cute in her violet full sleeves crop top and trousers. Prassthanam is set in a contemporary political family in Lucknow. The Deva Katta directorial deals with complex questions on dharma, morality, desire, right and wrong.

In the movie, Satyajeet Dubey plays the role of Sanjay Dutt's son. In an interview with mid-day, he shared his experience of working with Sanjay Dutt. He said, "I was awestruck when I met him at the Sanjay S Dutt Productions office. But Sanju sir broke the ice by giving me a jaadu ki jhappi. He told me that he had liked my work in Kerry On Kutton (2016)."

Amyra Dastur plays Ali Fazal's love interest. Unlike the rest of the cast, she said, her character is not "violent". Speaking at the trailer launch of the film, she said, "I'm the least violent out of everyone in the film. My character's name is Shivi. There's a chemistry between my character and Ali's. I don't want to reveal much about it," she said.

Prasthanam also features Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and Chunky Panday in pivotal roles. Produced by Sanjay S Dutt Productions and Maanayata Dutt, Prasthanam releases on September 20. We wish the team best of luck!
