Karwa Chauth 2020: Celebration photos of Bollywood and Television couples

All decked up in stunning sarees, sindoor, bangles and with beautiful mehendi, Bollywood's ladies observed Karva Chauth. Like every year, several B-town beauties were at Anil Kapoor's residence as his wife Sunita Kapoor hosted the Karva Chauth celebrations. Shilpa Shetty, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Laali Dhawan and Neelam Kothari came together to break their day-long fast at the Kapoors' residence. This year, David Dhawan's soon-to-be daughter-in-law Natasha Dalal too joined in the celebrations.

Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrated the festival of Karva Chauth through a get-together with the Kapoor-Jain family. The second time mom-to-be chose a pink and white kurta with matching churidar for the occasion.

Kareena posted several pictures from the evening on Instagram. The pictures show Kareena along with her celebrity parents, her cousins Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Aadar Jain and their other family members. Kareena's aunt and actor Neetu Kapoor also took to the photo-sharing platform to share a picture of the family get-together from the Karva Chauth evening. She penned a caption expressing how much she misses "Kapoor sahab", her superstar husband Rishi Kapoor, who passed away earlier this year. "Karva chauth with family. miss you kapoor sahab," she wrote in the caption.

Wishing a happy Karva Chauth to all the ladies, Shilpa Shetty shared gorgeous pictures as she got dressed up in a maroon saree. In the picture, the yogini looked beautiful as she elegantly posed for the lens. She donned a saree with golden print and matching traditional jewellery. In a minimal makeup look, the actor looked gorgeous. She captioned the post as, "RED-dy Shetty Go! Happy Karvachauth, Ladies.#KarvaChauth2020 #SareeNotSorry #festiveseason #festivals #sareelove."

Shilpa also shared a video from the Karva Chauth rituals and wrote in the caption, "Breaking the fast. Today was dedicated to the man who is a true representative of who a 'partner' should be. He fasts with me (since 11 years) stands by me through thick & thin, and makes life beautiful in the most amazing ways imaginable. Thank you for everything, @rajkundra9. I love you, Cookie. Happy Karva Chauth!

Neha Kakkar observed her first Karva Chauth for her husband singer Rohanpreet Singh. She took to Instagram, where she posted loads of photographs of herself along with Rohan and captioned it: "My first Karwa Chauth with hubby @rohanpreetsingh [sic]"

For Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who married singer Nick Jonas in 2018, it was her second Karva Chauth. PC too celebrated the festival in California. She took to Instagram to share two pictures from her Karva Chauth celebrations from her US home with the 'Sucker' singer. In the photos, Priyanka looked stunning in a simple red sari paired with a golden blouse. The former Miss World finished off her look with drop earrings, sindoor and a bindi.

In another picture, Priyanka Chopra can be seen curled up in her husband's arms. "Happy Karwa Chauth to everyone celebrating. I love you Nick Jonas, [sic]" she captioned the post.

Shriya Saran, who is no longer keeping her Russian tennis player husband Andrei Koscheev out of the public eye, took to Instagram to share pictures of the festive day, which she celebrated in Spain! She captioned the picture: "Happy Karva Chaut to all you beautiful people. May you all stay safe and healthy. [sic]"

Yuvika Chaudhary got a shiny diamond as a gift from hubby Prince Narula on Karva Chauth. She posted this picture and wrote alongside, "This is how FOREVER looks like. I am extremely surprised how did you @princenarula get to know that I have been eyeing on this beautiful ring from so long. We've been through really trying times last month but stood by each other to get over it, We couldn't celebrate our 2nd marriage anniversary but you made sure to make me feel special and I couldn't ask for more. These 2 years have only made us & our Love stronger. [sic]"

Kishwer Merchant posted romantic pictures with hubby Suyyash Rai, as they celebrated Karva Chauth. She wrote in the caption, "Happy Karwachauth @suyyashrai. May you be blessed with abundance, happiness, love, good health and wealth always [sic]"

Sonali Bendre, too, posted an adorable picture with husband Goldie Behl and penned a note on the festival on Instagram. "Happy Karwa Chauth to those celebrating. I have always found rituals and traditions like these to be very comforting. In my sphere of things, they are in many ways a bridge between the old and the new ways of thinking and living. Rather than be averse and antipathetic, I have always looked at how to evolve and adapt for a more harmonious way of life," she wrote in a caption to the picture. "Every year, I celebrate Karwa Chauth with my family and friends. This ritual brings a new colour to my relationships, especially with my mother-in-law. It's become a tradition to celebrate it together and I actually look forward to the day and what it entails, especially when we all come together. For me, it's about this sisterhood we have created, being grateful for the beautiful bond my husband and I share and of course the opportunity to be pampered throughout the day. Do what makes you happy, [sic]" she added.

Dressed in a red traditional salwar suit, Raveena Tandon shared a couple of pictures waiting for the moon to show up. She also penned a note on the Karva Chauth celebration this year. She wrote, "I fast for the happiness and health and long life, for my Mums,(mom and mamma,)my dad, my husband, my kids and their families. It's all your faith and your good vibrations that send out into the universe. This is the first time Anil and my kids not here with me to help me do the prayer and break my fast, missing all in Mumbai!" "For me, the holiest, purest, is the prayers for, my parents, my husband my family, who enrich my life every day with love happiness. I pray and thank god for everything. Happy #KarvaChauth, [sic]" she added.

Rocking a sheer red saree on Karva Chauth, Kajol treated fans to a stunning boomerang and shared her different moods during the fast. She posted quirky photos in her 'Hunger Games' series in her post with a caption that read - "Hunger games series. Swipe for the fun:- (pls read appropriate captions given below)

Kamya Panjabi, who got married to Dr Shalabh Dang, too observed her first Karva Chauth fast this year. Kamya looked radiant in a red saree, all decked-up for the celebratory evening. The TV actress shared videos and pictures from the festive day on her Instagram handle.

Aamna Sharif looked gorgeous as she opted for a tangerine lehenga for Karva Chauth. She posted this picture with husband Amit Kapoor and wished everyone 'Happy Karva Chauth' in her caption.

Sushmita Sen's sister-in-law and TV actress Charu Asopa, who got hitched with the former's brother Rajeev Sen last year, celebrated her second Karva Chauth. She posted some adorable pictures with the caption - "Happy Karva Chauth to everyone"

Television actress Mona Lisa celebrated Karva Chauth with husband Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. She posted this stunning picture of hers with Vikrant and wrote alongside: Happy Karwa Chauth!
