The release of the Good Newwz trailer was followed by a flurry of tweets in praise of its stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh with quite a few memes also tagged under #GoodNewwzTrailer.

In the film, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, as Varun and Deepti Batra, will be seen trying to conceive a baby. The film highlights the issue of surrogacy but with a tinge of humour. Akki will be portraying the role of Bebo's husband who's a suave car dealer in South Delhi.

Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, as Honey and Monika, too, meet with the realisation that they need to have a kid before it's too late.

Kareena Kapoor looked stunning as ever as she wore a lemon-coloured dress by Dion Lee. Talking about Good Newwz, Kareena Kapoor said she was impressed with the story during the narration and was the first one to board the project. "When Raj narrated the script to me, I thought I was perfect for the role. I loved the script. It was so funny, I couldn't stop laughing. Also, it was such a great package," she added.

Kiara Advani opted for a blush pink one-shoulder mini dress for the trailer launch of Good Newwz. After the humongous success of Kabir Singh, all eyes are on Kiara's second film of the year - Good Newwz. 

After working on action dramas such as Brothers and Kesari, Karan Johar is once again collaborating with Akshay Kumar with this light-hearted film - Good Newwz. KJo said he originally planned to make a big-budget feature with the actor but Akshay decided on the upcoming comedy.
