Alia Bhatt in her first collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will play Gangubai Kathiawadi, the fierce madam of Kamathipura brothels in the 1960s who had gangsters as clients and was rumoured to be a drug peddler.

Vijay Raaz was also spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Juhu office. Considering Alia also caught up with the filmmaker, there is speculation that Raaz is being roped in for Gangubai Kathiawadi. One of the most talented and under-appreciated actors in B-Town, it will be a treat to watch him in a Bhansali film.

Sanjay Dutt along with Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were promoting their film Panipat at a plush hotel in Juhu. Sanjay Dutt sported a grey tee and denim for his outing. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, which was fought between the Marathas and Afghan invader Ahmed Shah Abdali in 1761.

Kriti Sanon talking about her role as Parvati Bai in Panipat said, "Parvati Bai - From being a loving woman to being a strong constant support for her husband through all ups and downs to being a fearless force that would go to every extent to defend her people. It's been an honour portraying her on the big screen in Panipat! Thank you Ashu sir for this opportunity!"

Arjun Kapoor recently shared a video of his transformation into the role of Maratha leader Sadashiv Rao Bhau in Panipat. "I was not convinced that I could look like a Maratha, like a Peshwa but Ashu sir was convinced. He is a very meticulous person. He had done his research, he had seen my films, my images. 'Andhadhun aake nahi bol rahe the ki tu takla ho jaega aur kar lega'. There was some thought behind it. He had a lot of clarity regarding my role..," Arjun said in the video.

Panipat dictates the events that lead to the Third Battle of Panipat. It boasts an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist Ahmad Shah Abdali, Padmini Kolhapure, Mohnish Bahl, Kunal Kapoor, and Zeenat Aman. Panipat is slated to hit big screens on December 6.
