Kajol opted for a yellow gown with embroidered bodice and paired it with matching shrug with bell sleeves.
Shruti Haasan made a special entry at the screening of her short film donning a black pantsuit.
Devi is Kajol and Shruti's first short film ever and the movie was shot in just two days. The powerful short film narrates the story of nine oppressed women coming from different walks of life.
Mukta Barve, who attended the screening also plays a pivotal role in the short film. Apart from her, it stars Neha Dhupia, Neena Kulkarni, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Sandhya Mhatre, and Yashaswini Dayama.
Sonali Bendre Behl also made a stylish appearance at Devi's screening along with the short film's producer, Niranjan Iyengar. The latter opted for a blue shirt and denim for the event.
In an exclusive interview with mid-day, Kajol spoke about her experience of working with an all-women cast. She said, "When the script came my way, I thought it would be so much fun working with [eight] different women. I loved the statement that the film is making. Also, it's such a joy to closely collaborate with so many women. Nobody discussed PMS at all on set."
Talking about the character she is playing in the film, the actor said, " My character, Jyoti, is vastly different from me in many ways, but uncannily we share a lot too. In today's times when gender discrimination, abuse, and violence is being spoken about vociferously, films like Devi are far more relevant and I am glad to have got the opportunity to participate."

Manish Malhotra was joined by Karan Johar and a friend for some adorable photographs.
Karan looked dashing (as always) in his yellow printed sweatshirt and black pants. We certainly loved how his black sunglasses enhanced his attire.
Neena Kulkarni attended the screening in a beautiful blue saree. In a recent interview, Neena spoke about her role in the short film. She said, "The script is moving and layered. I chose to be a part of it because it makes a strong comment on one of the most horrific crimes committed against women till date."
