Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday are seen sweating a lot for Shakun Batra’s next. The trio is regularly seen at the Gateway of India completing the shooting schedule. (All pictures: Yogen Shah).

Deepika opted for a black crop top and wide-legged pants. She wore a black mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, we do not see Ranveer accompanying her wifey, unlike previous times. Guess, Ranveer too is busy with his professional commitments.

Ananya Panday was also clicked at the same location. This will be Ananya's fourth film. She made her debut last year with Student of the Year 2 and was later seen romancing with Kartik Aaryan and Ishaan Khatter in Pati Patni aur Woh and Khaali Peeli respectively.

Speaking about Ananya's co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi, the 27-year-old actor made his grand Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy. Apart from Shakun Batra's untitled he also has Bunty Aur Babli 2 in his kitty.

Later, we saw Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday enjoying their boat ride. While Siddhant opted for a grey t-shirt, Ananya donned a cool-looking denim shirt. The duo wore white masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The first schedule of the film was shot in Goa. The team is currently shooting in Mumbai. In a recent interview, Ananya talked about how she felt resuming shooting which had got stopped due to COVID-19 lockdown. "I was definitely nervous the first time shooting in the pandemic but once we started shooting, it was really reassuring to see that all the safety precautions were taken. I realised how much I missed being on set and in front of the camera and I’m really glad that I can get back to work now and I’m really looking forward to shooting my next with Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jaganath sir. It was definitely challenging shooting in the middle of a pandemic and being away from home for two months, but once I’m on set I’m the happiest," said Ananya.

When Siddhant was asked how he felt working for this film, he said, "In Shakun's film, I play an urban and contemporary character. I weighed 84 kilos when doing Bunty Aur Babli 2, and had to shed four kilos to fit into the part Shakun envisioned me in. Before the lockdown, we had readings with Shakun and the cast. We sat together and cracked the zone that the film was set in. We had started doing our homework for the parts."

The movie studies the relationship dynamics between four friends who go on a road trip. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the Shakun Batra film is slated to release on Valentine's Day week next year. This will be the first time Deepika, Siddhant and Ananya will share screen space together.
