From jetting out for an exotic holiday to partying with friends, Bollywood celebrities welcomed the New Year with great pomp and celebrations. So how can industry new-comers will leave themselves behind? Namashi Chakraborty and Amrin Qureshi decided to give a grand welcome to 2020 in their own style. (All pictures/Satej Shinde)

Namashi, who is celebrated Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty's son looked dashing in his brown shirt and black pants, while Amrin sizzled in her grey slit dress.

The newcomers will be making their Bollywood debut this year with filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi's Bad Boy. It seems the young stars are all ready to spread their wings.

In an earlier interview, producer Sajid Qureshi said both Namashi and Amrin went through several rounds of auditions before getting finalised. Without revealing much about the plot of the film, Qureshi said, "It will be on the lines of Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'cruz's Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani that featured Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif."

Santoshi has roped in Himesh Reshammiya to compose songs for this quirky young romantic-comedy. It is being reported that the movie will cater more to the younger audience, and Himesh is working on songs that appeal to the youth. "We are working on five new songs; the kind that the youth can connect with as soon as they hear them. We aren't recreating old tracks as the film gives us enough scope to present fresh music," the composer said in an interview with IANS.

Namashi has previously worked as an assistant director for his brother, Mahaakshay's movie, Ishqedarriyaa while this will be Amrin's first Bollywood project. Here's wishing them best of luck for their debuts.
